Behind the standing area is a section of seating which is not great. If you want to sit then the best seats are low down on the sides no more than half way back. Seating is all reserved and if you are standing you will be given a wrist band to gain entry to the front section."

Notes: "The Point has a large standing area in front of the stage that they use for events like PJ with seating further to the back and higher up as well as seating higher up and to either side of the stage. I would say if you wish to sit bring a small pair of binoculars or get a seat at the sides about half way down - otherwise you won't see squat! :-)" It's also mentioned that security at this venue is very tight, probably as a result of a death that occured at a Smashing Pumpkins concert several years ago.
Directions: "Public transport out to the Point Depot is really crap - however you can walk from the city centre out there. The Point is in the heart of the Docklands development in Dublin. It is about 20 to 30 mins walk from the city centre - but I will say this - know where you are going or you could end up somewhere that you really don't want to be!
